Item	Terms
Hourly rate	Provided upon inquiry, prior to appointment
Study and preparation time	Billed at the same hourly rate as hearing time
Cancellation of hearing dates	Full fee for dates cancelled within 14 days; 50% within 30 days
Travel	Billed portal-to-portal; business-class air for matters requiring travel beyond Florida
Administrative fee	Per the administering institution's schedule, where applicable
Invoicing	Monthly, or at the close of a discrete phase for shorter matters
Retainer	Requested at appointment for matters expected to exceed 20 hours

These terms apply to institutional and ad hoc appointments alike, subject to the administering institution's rules where one applies. Terms for a specific matter are confirmed in writing before appointment is accepted.
